2023 'The Kinky Alpaca' Grenache Rosé

Colour: In the glass, it’s a beautifully pale, peachy-pink—bright, delicate, and just begging to be poured. Unfiltered.

Aroma: Aromatics of honeydew, rockmelon float from the glass.

Palate: The palate is crisp, clean, and full of charm. Light red fruits mingle with melon, all balanced by a gentle acidity that keeps things dry, refreshing, and incredibly moreish.

It’s summer in a glass. Best served chilled—with seafood, picnics, or sunset chats on the deck.

The Vineyard: Made from nearly 100-year-old trellised bush vines on the sandy soils of our McLaren Flat vineyard, this rosé is a joyful twist on tradition. When we told the vineyard crew we were using this prized Grenache for rosé, they rolled their eyes and called it a “waste.” But we think we’ve proven them wrong.
